DUBAI: The Theatre of Digital Arts announces the debut of “Women’s Voices of the Middle East” – a series of empowering 360° concerts that celebrate the talent and creativity of female artists from this region.
Through “Women’s Voices of the Middle East,” TODA aims to create a platform where the stories and talents of these artists can shine brightly, breaking barriers and inspiring audiences of all backgrounds”, said Daria Prodaevich, Managing Director of Theatre of Digital Arts, “We believe that this series will not only celebrate the artistic achievements of women but also fosters a sense of unity within the community”
The pioneering artist will be a Palestinian-Bahraini sensation, Banah. With a string of sold-out performances across the globe, including a recent triumph at the esteemed London Jazz Festival, she combines seemingly incongruous — the most beloved Middle Eastern hits and jazzy vibes.
On April 26th, along with guest musicians, she will breathe a new life into the timeless classics of renowned artists such as Fairouz, Umm Kulthum, Abdel Wahab, and many more. Join us as we journey through the rich tapestry of Arabic music— with the boundaries between cultures blurring, and the soulful rhythms of the Middle East finding harmony in the universal language of jazz.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of history in the making and keep your eyes (and mind) open!
