3rd edition of VC Weekend by Gingo Partners Wrapped Up in Dubai

DUBAI: From April 25th to April 26th, 2024, the third edition of VC Weekend by Gingo Partners brought together a diverse array of venture capitalists, business angels, and tech enthusiasts, contributing to the growth of the Middle Eastern venture capital ecosystem. Held at the esteemed 25 Hours Hotel, the event featured a dynamic lineup of curated investor dinners, networking roundtables, business talks, and market analytics sessions, providing participants with invaluable opportunities to connect and learn.

A highlight of VC Weekend 2024 was the panel discussion, attendees were treated to insights from esteemed industry leaders and visionaries like Nathan Kwon (Shorooq Partners), Swati Trivedi (Magnitt), Jamil Shinawi (Actual VC),  Alexey Bogdanov (Tenet Consulting Group), Mark Berkovich (Keabank), Walid Masour (Middle East Venture Partners) and others who shared their experiences and perspectives on navigating the evolving venture capital ecosystem. Their thought-provoking discussions inspired attendees and underscored the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and growth.

In addition there was a startup pitch session, where ambitious startups had the chance to showcase their innovations and vie for the attention of potential investors. With pitches spanning a wide range of industries, the competition showcased the diversity and dynamism of the Middle Eastern startup landscape. Startups include: SquareFI, Sizters App, Stayhooper and MyTeacher App.

As the curtains closed on VC Weekend 2024, participants departed with a renewed sense of optimism and determination to contribute to the continued success of the Middle Eastern venture capital ecosystem. The event may have wrapped up, but its impact will undoubtedly be felt for months to come as attendees leverage the connections made and insights gained to propel their ventures forward. Gingo Partners has announced to host VC Weekend twice a year with the next upcoming one during GITEX 2024.
