1st International Food & Agriculture Exhibition ‘FoodAg 2023’ opens at Karachi Expo Center

Governor Sindh, Mr. Kamran Tessori inaugurated the 1st International Food & Agriculture Exhibition ‘FoodAg 2023’ at Karachi Expo Centre on Thursday 10th August 2023.

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organized this first ever ‘International Food and Agriculture Exhibition’, which commenced on 10th August 2023. The three-day event will take place at the Expo Centre Karachi and hopes to curate a new era of global collaboration in the realm of food and agriculture.

With participation spanning across 55 countries, FoodAg 2023 will bring together over 200 exhibitors, demonstrating diverse cultures, innovative technologies, and pioneering methodologies. The event has already garnered substantial attention, with more than 450 registrations from global buyers.

The FoodAg 2023 exhibition is a platform where businesses, investors, and stakeholders will converge to explore and capitalize on new opportunities. The Agri Investment Conference, which was also held on August 10th, will set the tone for the event by delving into the latest trends and prospects within the food and agriculture sector. This platform will empower investors with insights into the myriad investment prospects that Pakistan offers.

There will also be an array of engaging panel discussions and networking opportunities curated throughout the exhibition, offering a dynamic arena for intellectual exchange and dialogues on the opportunities and challenges that define the industry. Another major highlight is the Global Cuisine Show, which will showcase the finesse of local produce, skillfully orchestrated by international chefs, thereby celebrating the fusion of cultures.

FoodAg 2023 stands as a pivotal milestone in Pakistan’s journey towards progress in the food and agriculture sector. With a heightened focus on trade, learning, and sustainability, the event is expected to create avenues for business expansion and international collaborations. Participants included leading exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables Imtiaz Enterprises and Rishad Mateen & Co. One of the leading exporter of halal meat Macca Foods also participated and confectionary leader of the city United King also. Unity Foods had an impressive stall as well.
