IHRI celebrates the Grand Inauguration, marking a new chapter in Rehabilitation and Wellness

KARACHI: Institute of Holistic Rehabilitation and Inclusion (IHRI), a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to rehabilitation and wellness, celebrated its grand inauguration on the 4th of July, 2023. The momentous event marked the beginning of a new chapter in providing comprehensive care and support to individuals seeking recovery and improved quality of life.
Mr. Razzak Pardesi, CEO of IHRI, has pledged to provide a supportive and empowering environment where individuals can regain their independence, optimize their abilities, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Understanding the financial limitations faced by lower-class communities, Razzak Pardesi has established a free-of-cost rehabilitation center in Balidya that offers comprehensive evaluations, therapy sessions, and counseling. Razzak Pardesi and his team focus on embracing inclusivity by providing non-discriminatory care, accessible services, sensitivity and cultural awareness and finally, community outreach.

We are glad to inform of the substantial impact your generosity has had on the lives of children enrolled in the Institute of Holistic Rehabilitation and Inclusion. Currently, our contributions are helping 300 children at our Clifton Campus while 50 less fortunate children are receiving a great special services in our Korangi Campus. Furthermore, the enrollment of 300+ children at our Baldia Campus has exceeded expectations and given the kids there hope for the future. These kids’ lives are being transformed by your unrelenting dedication to improve quality of life.
The program Head at IHRI, Afia Wajahat, aims to ensure that every individual, regardless of their religious beliefs or caste identity, receives the same high standard of care and support. She aims to create a healthcare landscape that eliminates discrimination based on financial means and ensures that every individual, regardless of their socio-economic background, receives the necessary neurodevelopmental and neurological rehabilitation support they require.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Razzak Pardesi, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and emphasized the center’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community. He also highlighted the center’s mission to offer personalized and holistic rehabilitation services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

The IHRI introduced its highly skilled and compassionate team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other specialized practitioners. IHRI highlighted its wide array of rehabilitation programs catering to various conditions, including neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and pediatric rehabilitation. The center emphasized its patient-centered approach, with personalized treatment plans designed to maximize functional recovery and promote overall well-being.
The center unveiled its plans to collaborate with local organizations, schools, and support groups to raise awareness about rehabilitation services, organize educational workshops, and offer free health screenings to underserved populations.

The inauguration ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by various well-known guests including Dr. Shahid Noor (Orthopedic Surgeon), Dr. Raman Kumar (Peads neurologist), Rahim Janoo, Haji Nasir Pardesi, Haji Anis Pardesi, Haji Sarmad Pardesi, Pervaiz Madraswala, Anis Younus, Sana Aqil, Naeem Qureshim Salman A. Siddiqu, Javeria Irfan, Nudrat Khan and Rafiya Mamujee.
