Arts Council hosts PLFK Kashmir Chapter
MUZAFFARABAD: Two-day “Pakistan Literature Festival” organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi in Kashmir ended with a Spalsh. Kashmiri people participated in large numbers. Literary sessions, debates, talks with literary personalities including mushaira, musical programs and stalls of colorful handicrafts reflecting Kashmiri culture became the center of attention of the participants
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the festival, the joint secretary of the Arts Council of Pakistan and noted writer Noor ul Huda Shah said that the love given by the people of Muzaffarabad and Kashmir during the Pakistan Literature Festival Kashmir Chapter makes us want to come here again and again. Sometimes we talk about the history and culture here and sometimes we bring your favorite personality here to talk about your sorrows, he said that the platform of Arts Council Karachi has been established through years of hard work where differences can be openly shared. we bring love, consciousness and light from the people of Sindh by Muhammad Ahmad Shah, if you accept and feel it, we will come again and again. these things can happen when the people of Pakistan and Kashmir will sit together and listen to each other.

Muzaffarabad Azad Jammu and Kashmir Secretary Tourism Mídhat Shehzad said that people were eagerly waiting for this festival, it will spread the message of friendship and love, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Secretary Tourism Midhat Shehzad on behalf of the Department of Sports, Youth and Culture. awarded Muhammad Ahmad Shah two awards in recognition of literary services. More than 20 different Session were organized. on the second day of the festival, “Situation of Occupied Kashmir in the context of 35-A and 370”, “Conversation with Kamran Lashari”,
“Kashmir and Fikr-e-Iqbal”, “Dabistan-e-Kashmir Kay Naqoosh”, “Hamain Maathay Pe Bosa Do (Aetraaf-e-Azmat)”, “The Story of Umair Najmi”, “book launch by Saleem Safi “Aur Tabdeeli Mehngi Parh gai”, “Villain se Hero Tak.. Munawar Saeed aik Ehad”, “Kashmir and Pakistan’s Music of Kashmir”. Folk dances were included. Excellence awards were gave to four different literary personalites like Sabir Afaqi,Waris Mir,Mohammad Shamim and iftikhar Mughal . At the end of the festival, the famous singers Sahir Ali Baga, Ahsan Bari, Armaan Rahim and Bano Rehmat stole the show. source: biztoday
